In an exclusive interview with Yogonet, the Sales Director provided an insight into the products Alfastreet is planning to unleash at the upcoming ICE London tradeshow, as well as the company's performance and future strategies to grow their share in the gaming market.

What can you tell us about the products you're planning to unleash at the trade show?

2017 has been a very good year for the company, that managed to combine the introduction of some really advanced products with successful placement of them on casino floors worldwide. The success provides added stimulation to push the envelope even further and add to already impressive product lineup; the upcoming ICE exhibition in London 2018 will host the plethora of novelties, that range from completely new products to the evolution of our existing lines. The star attraction will be for sure the innovative Car Race machine, accompanied by a restyled version of the best selling single terminal WIKY and a completely new Felix T terminal, featuring a bold, attractive design and the 27” touchscreen monitor. The latter will be also featured in the innovative Roulette line that will provide virtually any combination of gaming stations and sources. Of course, we won’t forget our other products such as the R8, the Lucky8 and the Multi-Touch table, that was a hit of 2017. The development of the slot machines goes at full speed, so there’ll be some surprises in that department as well.

What can both operators and players alike expect to see from you in terms of product development?
The company prides itself on being at the forefront of development in the gaming industry since the very beginning and we devote the majority of our resources into constantly improving the products and innovation. The exhibitions are our showcase, that enables the operators to test, touch and feel the equipment, that will shortly be installed and working at their locations worldwide, bringing joy and entertainment to the players, which are the biggest supporters of the brand. The clear example of this will be the restyled single Roulette wheel, that is evoking curiosity and race to “who will be the first to have it” before even being unveiled. The trend is to have all the connection possibilities within a gaming setup, with a number of live, automated and online sources that a player can choose from. We have been providing this type of solutions for over 10 years now and we can guarantee that there’s plenty more to come.

Which jurisdictions do you feel currently offer the most potential for gaming growth in Europe?
Alfastreet has a very strong position all over Europe, but if we must point out the markets that have shown the highest growth and retain high potential, that would be France and Spain, without a doubt. Both of these generate tremendous demand for high quality customized products that we are able to provide, contributing significantly to the very successful 2017. However the trends on different markets are constantly changing and we are expecting big movements in some countries, that would seem a bit dormant at the moment – of course, we don’t want to disclose too much to our competitors, but we will increase our presence in Europe in 2018 even further.

What is going to be your strategy this year to out-perform competitors and grow your market share?
No secrets there – as always we are pushing ourselves to do better, to see further and improve our extensive product range following our intuition, respecting our tradition and working in close cooperation with our partners, to create the ultimate gaming machines that will be enjoyed by the players and the operators alike. All of our departments have the goal to optimize their performance, which will ultimately increase our presence worldwide and consequently market shares. The new products will raise the bar as far as technical advancement, design and reliability are concerned, making it extremely hard to follow for any competitor.
