The tribe on Tuesday introduced the name and logo for the $500 million resort casino it plans to build next to Harbor Park, expected to be completed in 2023.

A

n announcement Tuesday said the name is a reference to new beginnings — “head waters” refers to the start of a river — as well as the historical importance of rivers to both the tribe and the city.

The HeadWaters Resort & Casino’s logo will include a rippling water design within a feather and the primary branding color will include two shades of blue.
