Comanche Nation Entertainment (CNE) has announced a multi-phase expansion of its two flagship casino properties in Southwest Oklahoma, aiming to enhance entertainment offerings, drive regional tourism, and spur economic growth.

The initiative will begin with a significant upgrade to the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, with a new events center, an expansion of the gaming floor, and the addition of new non-gaming amenities.

The project marks the first step in a broader development plan that also includes future enhancements to the Comanche Nation Casino.

“This capital improvement marks a strategic milestone for Comanche Nation Entertainment,” said Steven Doyle, CEO of CNE. “It gives us room to grow in a smart and sustainable way – creating more value for our guests, our team members, and most importantly, Comanche Nation.”

The Red River property will see the addition of around 150 new slot machines, 15 table games, new bar and food service areas, as well as an arcade and virtual golf suites. The planned event center will accommodate between 500 and 750 guests and is designed to host concerts, conferences, and community gatherings.

“Expanding our hotel room capacity and building an event center creates a stronger foundation for long-term profitability,” Doyle said. “It helps us capture more overnight visitors, extend play time on the casino floor and bring in new audiences for live events and entertainment.”

The broader expansion plan incorporates a mix of hospitality, gaming, and entertainment upgrades across both properties, reinforcing the company’s commitment to economic development and cultural preservation. CNE said the project is expected to generate new jobs and boost small business activity in the region.

“This expansion is more than a development plan,” Doyle added. “It’s a symbol of progress, resilience, and collective effort. We’re investing in a future where the Comanche people thrive.”

Construction on the Comanche Red River Hotel Casino event center is scheduled to begin later this year.
