The São Paulo Football Federation has finalized a sponsorship agreement with Rivalo that will extend across multiple divisions and competitions in state football, creating what the federation describes as the largest collective sponsorship arrangement ever implemented in Brazilian football. The deal brings a single sponsor into direct association with 46 clubs and five competitions administered by the federation.

Under the agreement, Rivalo will receive advertising exposure through pitchside boards in the Paulistão A1, while securing naming rights for the Paulistão A2, Paulistão A3, Paulistão A4, and the Copa Paulista.

The Rivalo brand will also appear on the jersey of Capivariano in the A1 division and on the kits of 45 additional clubs competing in the lower divisions and the Copa Paulista, bringing the total number of sponsored teams to 46.

The sponsorship package also includes backing for the federation’s Integrity Program, which focuses on combating match-fixing and is described by the federation as a pioneering initiative in Brazil.

The São Paulo Football Federation acted as an intermediary in structuring the arrangement, offering participating clubs access to a collective sponsorship model intended to provide a new source of recurring annual revenue and support the broader state football ecosystem.

Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos, president of the São Paulo Football Federation, said: “This project will redefine the concept of sports sponsorship in Brazil. In addition to being innovative, the agreement with Rivalo strengthens strategic pillars of São Paulo football."

He added: “It’s a unique and unprecedented model. Never before has a brand sponsored 46 clubs and five competitions simultaneously. This will represent extra revenue for the clubs in an innovative and unprecedented concept, with growth potential for the coming seasons.”

Daniel Eskinazi, CEO of Rivalo, said: “São Paulo football is one of the cornerstones of Brazilian football. It’s where many talents, stories, and passions emerge that later conquer the world. By supporting this structure, from the base to the top of the pyramid, Rivalo is making an unprecedented commitment to the development of the sport in a broad, responsible, and sustainable way.”

Eskinazi also compared the scale of the arrangement to global sporting events.

“Being the main partner of the São Paulo Football Federation and being present in almost all the clubs in these competitions is comparable, in scale, to supporting an entire World Cup. It is a project that values the collective, strengthens the clubs, and reaffirms our purpose of investing in football that forms athletes, fan,s and stories,” he said.

The sponsorship activities are scheduled to begin with the opening match of the Paulistão championship on January 10, with the Paulistão A2 Rivalo competition set to start on January 11.
