iGaming tech provider SOFTSWISS' Anti-Fraud team blocked more than €15 million ($17.58 million) in fraudulent transactions between January and August 2025, reinforcing efforts to provide operators with a secure iGaming environment.
The Anti-Fraud team closed over 56,000 tasks and processed 70 player complaints submitted to gaming regulators and forums during the period, handling complex cases with growing efficiency.
“This year, our team not only safeguarded €15 million for our clients but also handled tens of thousands of cases with precision and responsibility,” Ilya Nesterov, Anti-Fraud Team Lead, said. “Fraud tactics are evolving, but so are our secure data protection practices. For operators, this means a safer, more transparent environment to build trust and long-term success.”
A rising trend involves the use of artificial intelligence, including AI-generated deepfakes, to bypass verification. The SumSub Identity Fraud Report 2024–2025 notes this as an emerging challenge for the sector, prompting SOFTSWISS to strengthen its internal tools and processes.
Anti-fraud support is part of the company’s Managed Services division, which also includes first-line support, VIP player support, player retention and reactivation, and content management.
SOFTSWISS continues to prioritise responsible gambling standards and data security as core elements of its technology stack, positioning itself as a partner for operators expanding into regulated markets.
Partners will be able to discuss fraud prevention strategies and their broader ecosystem of solutions at stand 4016 G during the Sigma Summit Central Europe 2025 on November 4-6. Partners can book a meeting in advance.
