Online gambling operator Tonybet has launched a World Cup-themed promotional campaign for customers in Canada, offering prizes worth CAD150,000 ($107,315) as it seeks to capitalize on heightened engagement during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The World Cup Card Collection campaign, available to Canadian customers outside Ontario, allows players to earn collectible card packs by completing weekly sportsbook and casino-related quests throughout the tournament.
Participants can collect a total of 51 cards, including 48 digital cards representing each nation competing in the expanded 48-team World Cup and three physical cards available in gold, silver and bronze editions.
Each card carries a coin value that can be exchanged for bonus rewards on the Tonybet platform. The holders of the three physical cards will also receive cash prizes of CAD100,000 ($71,543) for gold, CAD35,000 ($25,040) for silver and CAD15,000 ($10,731) for bronze, in addition to the handcrafted collectible cards.
Tonybet said the campaign is designed to keep customers engaged throughout the tournament through card collection, rewards and bonus features.
"With Canada co-hosting the 2026 World Cup, it's set to be a huge period for Canadian sport – and our World Cup Card Collection campaign will ensure our Canadian customers have even more reason to stay engaged through the tournament over the coming weeks," Tonybet Head of Product Kiryl Liudvikevich said.
Players can unlock additional rewards and bonuses by completing card collections and progressing through various campaign tiers.
"By completing quests, collecting card packs, unlocking collection bonuses, and chasing three one-of-a-kind physical cards available throughout the World Cup, there's a share of $150,000 up for grabs," Liudvikevich said.
"And with new rewards, tier completion bonuses, and exclusive collectibles on offer, every card pack could bring our players one step closer to a summer to remember."
