Gaming tech provider SOFTSWISS has secured the Employer of the Year title at the SBC Awards Europe 2025, its second consecutive win in the category, as the company continues to run employee training, language, and mental health programs across its 2,000-strong global workforce.
The SBC Awards Europe honored companies in the betting and gaming industry last week for achievements in innovation, operations, and workplace practices.
In the past year, more than 800 SOFTSWISS employees took part in training programs, over 700 attended free language courses, and more than 500 joined mental health initiatives. Engagement activities included Better Together Month, the SOFTSWISS Kids Camp, and the WIN STYLE merchandise shop, which processed nearly 2,000 orders in 24 countries.
Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS, said: “Winning Employer of the Year for the second year in a row is an incredible honour. It’s proof that when you put people first, results follow – not just for the company, but for the entire industry.
"But our ambition doesn’t stop here – my personal goal is to make SOFTSWISS the best global employer, comparable to big tech brands like Google. Now we are the first in the industry. It means we’re on the right path and inspires us to keep moving forward.”
SOFTSWISS also marked its 15th anniversary with Young Fest, a four-day festival on the Mediterranean coast that combined team-building activities, entertainment, and learning sessions. The event included employee performances, with Montik also performing as a DJ.
Beyond internal initiatives, the company reported that its workforce planted more than 800 trees, supported animal shelters, and participated in responsible gaming campaigns during the year. The SOFTSWISS Kids Camp in Poland incorporated activities to raise awareness about global water issues and created gifts for schools in Brazil affected by floods.
“At SOFTSWISS, we believe that every employee should feel supported, engaged, and empowered to grow – both professionally and personally,” Liudmila Glasunova, Co-Chief HR Officer at SOFTSWISS. “This award is not only about the initiatives we’ve launched, but about the daily commitment of our teams to live our values of WE CARE and WE SEE PEOPLE.”
SOFTSWISS said it will continue allocating resources to employee well-being as part of its long-term workforce approach.
