The SBC Awards 2025 concluded in Lisbon on September 18 with 37 awards presented across the gambling industry, recognizing operators, suppliers, and service providers in front of more than 1,200 attendees at the MEO Arena.
The ceremony was hosted by former Dutch international goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar and closed the final day of the SBC Summit.
Kaizen Gaming retained its Operator of the Year – Large title and also received Sportsbook Operator of the Year. 8888.bg was named Operator of the Year – Small, while Vegas Legends secured Operator of the Year – Medium. Betsson Group collected Casino Operator of the Year, and 1xBet won Marketing Campaign of the Year. Novibet was recognized with the Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment award. The Rising Star categories went to BetMGM Europe as Rising Star in Casino and Boomerang as Rising Star in Sports Betting.
In payments, Nuvei was awarded Payment Solution of the Year, replacing last year’s winner Pay4Fun. GeoComply received Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year, and Payhound won Payment Innovation of the Year.
SOFTSWISS was once again named Employer of the Year. The Leader of the Year award was presented jointly to Natalia Nogues of Control F5 and Vigen Badalyan of BetConstruct.
EveryMatrix retained Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year and also collected Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year. BetConstruct received White Label Supplier of the Year. Sportradar took home two awards, Sports Data Product and Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product. Optimove also secured two titles: Marketing & Services Provider of the Year and Acquisition & Retention Partner of the Year.
Pragmatic Play won Slots Developer of the Year – Large. BGaming was named Slots Developer of the Year – Medium, and Kendoo received Slots Developer of the Year – Small. Other award recipients included:
The awards were held on the closing day of the SBC Summit, which ran September 16–18 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa. The summit drew approximately 30,000 industry professionals.
