Ahead of G2E Las Vegas, Khin tells Yogonet IGT has new solutions making their trade show debut such as the bar top hardware PeakBarTop, and new TV game show-themed titles. The firm will also highlight the versatility of the CrystalCurve cabinet, which is placed in all key markets in Latin America, with new core content.

What makes G2E Las Vegas 2019 special?

There is nothing quite like the excitement of G2E. It serves as an excellent opportunity for IGT to connect with our customers from around the world and present our world-class portfolio of games and solutions.

What are G2E attendants going to find at IGT’s booth this year?

At G2E, attendees can expect to see a wide range of IGT games and solutions designed to drive our customers’ growth and elevate the player experience. We have several new solutions making their trade show debut such as the bar top hardware – PeakBarTop. The new bar top cabinet enhances the player experience with its 23-inch curved display, USB charging ports, enhanced lighting and audio and more. IGT will debut new TV game show-themed titles such as Jeopardy! and $25,000 Pyramid on the large-format MegaTower Universal cabinet. Attendees can also see first-hand how our casino management solution, IGT Advantage, can positively transform the player experience with its product ecosystem that includes Cardless Connect, Resort Wallet and Mobile Intelligent Offers.

How did American operators respond to the solution PlaySportsB2B in the past year?

Sports betting has injected a new level of excitement in the industry, and we continue to receive positive feedback from operators regarding our sports betting platform, IGT PlaySports. This leading B2B sports betting platform is powering more than 30 betting venues in ten U.S. states, and we are looking forward to continuing our momentum in this space with new products and services that are designed to fit the needs of operators looking to enter this market.

Charles Cohen, Vice President, Sports Betting, is going to take part of two panels, and Wendy Montgomery, SVP, Global Brand, Marketing and Communications is going to share her expertise at another panel. What should G2E audience expect from these presentations?

Charles Cohen will co-present a case study with Pearl River Resorts about bringing sports betting to Indian Country, and will also share his insights on the benefits of on-premise mobile gaming. In addition, Wendy Montgomery will take part in a discussion about the benefits of inclusivity in the workplace as it relates to talent retention. 

IGT announced key appointments this year: Samantha Ravich as an independent director to IGT's board of directors; Ian Freeman as Vice President of Global Business Development and Commercial of IGT PlayDigital; Bob Vincent as Chairperson of IGT Global Solutions Corporation; Wendy Montgomery as Senior Vice President of Global Brand, Marketing and Communications; and Scott Gunn as Senior Vice President of Corporate Public Affairs. What brings each one of them to the company? Why are these roles important to IGT?

The individuals whom you mentioned either came from other companies or were longtime IGT executives before their recent appointments. Acquiring and retaining the gaming industry’s top talent is a priority at IGT. All of the aforementioned people continue to drive IGT’s business in different ways, and the company’s mission to lead the global gaming entertainment industry by focusing our innovations in content and platform technology around delivering an outstanding player experience. 

IGT organizes special events for its clients. Are there any differences between their concerns in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America?

Events that allow us to connect with our customers are important across all our business units, and every market is extremely unique. My colleagues Walter Bugno and Marcel Heutmekers help ensure IGT is providing solutions that meet the needs of our customers throughout Latin America. At G2E, we will highlight the versatility of the CrystalCurve cabinet, which is placed in all key markets in Latin America, with engaging new core content such as Magic of the Nile and Hexbreaker 3. 

What is next for IGT?

We will remain committed to supporting our customers continued growth and elevating the player experience by placing many of the exciting games and solutions that we’re showing at G2E onto casino floors. In addition, you can also expect to see our sports betting solution, PlaySports, launch in additional U.S. states in the coming months.
