The acclaimed Totally Gaming Academy (TGA) will be holding its one-day, fast-track masterclasses covering the fundamentals of digital management and the key areas of operating a profitable sports book operation at GiGse on Wednesday, May 30 and the Slot Academy Masterclass on Friday June 1, followed by a Latin American focus on Thursday, May 3.

Delegates attending the co-located Juegos Miami and GiGse events (May 30 – June 1, The Biltmore, Miami) will be able to benefit from dedicated masterclasses tailored to each event delivered by the gaming industry’s most accomplished trainers. The acclaimed Totally Gaming Academy (TGA) will be holding its one-day, fast-track masterclasses covering the fundamentals of digital management and the key areas of operating a profitable sports book operation at GiGse on Wednesday, May 30 and the Slot Academy Masterclass on Friday June 1, followed by a Latin American focus on Thursday, May 31 with two half-day masterclasses exploring the world of affiliate management and a regional Sportsbook operations at Juegos Miami.

The Digital Marketing module for Land-Based Operations session at GiGse and the Juegos Miami LATAM Affiliate Masterclass will be delivered by iGaming expert and founder of the Boston-based Headway Consulting, Itsik Akiva, alongside Jason ‘Wolf’ Rosenberg, CEO/Founder of American iGaming Solutions, LLC who brings 17 years of online gaming industry experience and has provided expertise and strategic solutions to over 50 gaming operations in the Caribbean, United States, and Europe. The GiGse Sportsbook Management Academy and LATAM Sportsbook Masterclass at Juegos Miami are being taken by Course Director Lee Richardson, founder and CEO of Gaming Economics, an international e-gaming consultancy and advisory business. Finally, the Slot Academy Masterclass will be led by TGA founder Lucien Wijsman, a proven casino slot marketer with over 25 years of experience in operating casinos, developing TQM systems and advising the R&D departments of casino suppliers.

The Slot Academy course comprises: It’s all About the Marketing and the Marketing Mix - an introduction to the extended marketing mix for the services industry, applied to landbased and online casinos; What do our customers expect from the physical environment and the placement of machines? - looking at the different types of players have different expectations of the physical environment and the layout of the slots floor; What do our customers expect from the product? / Math model of the game – exploring various mathematical models; and, What do our customers expect from promotions? - an insight into the expectations of the various types of casino visitors regarding the use of mystery and progressive prizes.

Lee Richardson’s one-day Sportsbook Management Academy will investigate: How a sports book functions, what are the critical success factors; Essential considerations for initial ‘creation of a sports book’ and early phase development – things you must do, and pitfalls to avoid; How they can operate in parallel with other land-based gaming operations with examples from a range of other markets and operators; Potential operating models, and important product considerations; and, Routes to customer acquisition, segmentation and retention. The Latam Sportsbook Masterclass will cover similar topics but with a dedicated focus on how land-based operators can introduce sportsbooks in the region.

The Digital Marketing Masterclass with Itsik Akiva and Jason ‘Wolf’ Rosenberg will look at factors to consider for land-based operations making effective use of digital channels to promote their activities and will feature: Digital channels as part of ‘the mix’ – how to use email marketing and social media; The role of social gaming as part of the mix - which will look at social media as an advertising and PR channel, how to interact with guests, crisis management; Integration of digital with other channels; and, The importance of data – which will explore digital marketing and CRM.

The following day at Juegos Miami, Akiva and Rosenberg’s Affiliate Masterclass will cover; Learn proven strategies to maximise individual and team results; Discover what it takes to be an affiliate manager - exploring how to adapt your individual nature to succeed in the role; Learning how to successfully engage affiliates – providing insight into what affiliates are looking for and how to give it to them; Understand how to synchronise effective relationship management with business growth; How to negotiate effectively in your own style to optimise results; Discover how to consistently grow results and relationships with affiliates; and, Maximise your effectiveness and activity at affiliate conferences to ensure ROI.

All attendees who complete the masterclasses will receive certification from the Totally Gaming Academy.
