The winners of the inaugural SBC Awards Americas were announced at a ceremony held at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. The event recognized achievements across the iGaming and sports betting industries in North and Latin America, with FanDuel, Kaizen Gaming, and Sportradar among the top winners.
Hosted by Mexican sports journalist and TV personality Inés Sainz, the ceremony welcomed over 600 industry professionals and presented 35 awards. SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark said the awards were created to highlight the depth of talent across both continents.
Kaizen Gaming stood out with wins for Sportsbook Operator of the Year – Latin America and Casino Operator of the Year – Latin America. FanDuel was awarded Sportsbook Operator of the Year – North America and was also recognized for its commitment to responsible gambling with the Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year award. BetMGM took home Casino Operator of the Year – North America, while Zula Casino was named Social Gaming Operator of the Year.
In the affiliate categories, Flashscore Network was named Sports Affiliate of the Year – LATAM, Gambling.com Group took the title for North America, and Betting Hero secured Casino Affiliate of the Year, a category spanning both continents. Tribal gaming achievements were also celebrated, with Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel winning Tribal Gaming Operator of the Year and Dominic Ortiz, CEO & GM of Potawatomi Casino | Hotel, honored as Tribal Leader of the Year.
Additionally, Sportradar picked up awards for Sports Data Product and Live Betting & Gaming Product. Sportingtech won Sportsbook Supplier of the Year, White Hat Studios took Game of the Year, and BetConstruct won Platform Provider of the Year. PopOk Gaming earned Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product, and RubyPlay was recognized for its Women’s Empowerment Initiative. Stats Perform/SportsContentCo won Industry Innovation of the Year – Latin America, while Wazdan won for North America.
In the leadership categories, Marzia Turrini of BMM Testlabs was named Leader of the Year – Latin America, and Jordan Levin of OpenBet won for North America. The Rising Star awards spotlighted emerging talent, with Fanatics Betting and Gaming winning in the operator category, TAPP named Rising Star in Sports Betting, and Live88 awarded Rising Star in Casino.
In the marketing and services categories, Optimove won Marketing & Services Provider of the Year – Latin America, and Playtech Managed Services took the title in North America. Evolution was named Casino Supplier of the Year – North America, while Pragmatic Play earned the Latin American equivalent. Xtremepush rounded out the supplier awards with a win in the competitive Acquisition & Retention Partner category.
Moreover, OKTO was awarded Payment Solution of the Year – Latin America, Trustly took the North American award, and GLI won Compliance Solution of the Year.
The ceremony closed the SBC Summit Americas, which brought together over 10,000 attendees for three days of business, networking, and industry insights. Sojmark thanked sponsors BetConstruct and Hard Rock Bet for supporting the successful launch of the awards.
