San Diego's Jamul Casino names Charles Daniel as Vice President of Information Technology

Jamul Casino has named Charles Daniel to the position of Vice President of Information Technology. Daniel brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role, where he will oversee the technology systems across all areas of the casino.

We’re thrilled to have Charles join us as the new Vice President of Information Technology,” said Mary Cheeks, President and General Manager of Jamul Casino. “With his wealth of knowledge and experience, he will be a vital asset as Jamul Casino continues to drive technology innovation and transformation and we work toward opening the new hotel tower in 2025.”

For over two decades, Daniel has overseen IT initiatives across a variety of industries and well-known entities such as FICO, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Mitsubishi Electric. His work spanned the globe as he managed global engagements for organizations in Japan, Canada, China, Australia, Serbia and India before landing in the gaming industry in Las Vegas 10 years ago.

The casino notes that since 2014, Daniel has acted as an Information Technology Executive and Consultant, developing and integrating transformative casino operations initiatives for Boyd Gaming and MGM Resorts International. Most recently, Daniel served as Director of IT Operations for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and Yaamava Resort and Casino.
