Major gaming companies reopening announcements include Caesars Palace and Flamingo Las Vegas; Wynn and Encore properties; MGM's Bellagio, New York-New York, MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature; Boyd's nine venues; The Cosmopolitan; the Plaza Hotel and Casino, among others. They will follow previously announced enhanced safety protocols.

As Nevada enters Phase 2 of reopening the economy, following Governor Steve Sisolak announcement Tuesday that casinos are allowed to reopen on June 4, multiple Las Vegas area hotel-casinos announced reopening dates for their properties.

Caesars Entertainment said that it will resume gaming and hospitality operations in Las Vegas at its Caesars Palace and Flamingo Las Vegas properties on June 4, KSNV reports. Several retail and dining outlets along The LINQ Promenade, as well as the High Roller Observation Wheel, will reopen as well.

Following physical distancing guidelines, both Caesars Palace and the Flamingo will offer lodging, dining options and access to their outdoor pools, as well as slot machines and table games. They will implement the company’s previously announced, enhanced health and safety protocols, which enhance the company’s existing plans and practices in these areas.

Caesars expects Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and the gaming floor at The LINQ Hotel & Casino to be the next properties in Las Vegas to reopen, with timing based on customer demand. The company will be suspending fees for paid self-parking in Las Vegas.

In addition, Wynn Las Vegas will also be welcoming guests back to their property on June 4. The reopened amenities will include both Wynn and Encore hotel towers; two 24-hour casinos with a variety of table games and slots as well as the Race & Sports Book; the resort’s full portfolio of restaurants, lounges, and casual eateries, several with outdoor seating on open verandas and patios, among others. In addition, several new measures in social distancing, touchless technologies, and cleaning protocols have been incorporated throughout the resort in a clear and transparent effort to protect the well-being of all guests.

The enhancements comprise non-invasive thermal temperature checks and face coverings provided at all entrances; automatic hand sanitizer stations, UV Technology, and electrostatic sprayers throughout the resort; sealed guest rooms after meticulous sanitization by Wynn’s professional housekeeping staff; amenity kits including sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, and face coverings in each guest room; a dedicated team of cleaning professionals sanitizing public guest areas 24 hours a day. Wynn employees are required to wear face coverings at all times, and have all been tested for COVID-19 before returning to work.

MGM Resorts International has announced its planned June 4 reopening of Bellagio, New York-New York, MGM Grand Las Vegas and The Signature, following the closure earlier this year of all of its U.S. properties amidst the coronavirus crisis. At opening, amenities at all properties will be limited. As demand for the destination builds, additional venues within these resorts will open and other MGM Resorts properties on The Strip will reopen.

MGM Resorts recently released its comprehensive “Seven-Point Safety Plan,” a multi-layered set of protocols and procedures designed in conjunction with medical and scientific experts to mitigate the spread of the virus, protect customers and employees and rapidly respond to potential new cases.

Boyd Gaming announced it would reopen nine properties in Las Vegas on June 4, pending final approval from regulators: The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Aliante, Cannery, Sam's Town, Fremont, California and Jokers Wild.

"We are excited for the opportunity to resume operations in our home state of Nevada," Boyd Gaming CEO and President Keith Smith said in a statement. "By the first week of June, we look forward to having 19 of our 29 properties across the country back in operation, and we are optimistic that we will be able to reopen most of our remaining properties by the end of June."

The company also said it plans to resume operations June 1 at its two Missouri properties, Ameristar St. Charles and Ameristar Kansas City; and its two Iowa properties, Diamond Jo Dubuque and Diamond Jo Worth.

Boyd's properties will have limited amenities and capacity restrictions, with all buffets remaining closed. Fremont will be the only casino to offer valet, while pools will only open at Aliante and The Orleans. All of the properties are practicing "Boyd Clean," the set of health and safety protocols created by the company in response to COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Derek Stevens said The D Las Vegas and Golden Gate Hotel & Casino will reopen on June 4 as well.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will reopen on June 4 with strict guidelines. The majority of its restaurants will reopen, according to a press release, along with the pool, tennis courts and several retail shops.

Another downtown property also planning to open June 4 include the Plaza Hotel and Casino with curbside check-in, free self-parking and brand new casino bathroom as well as enhanced safety protocols.

The SAHARA is also planning to reopen the same day. The property made the announcement on Twitter. The Strip resort is offering a 'Buy a weekend, Get a weekend' free promotion and has implemented various enhanced health and safety protocols, according to its website.

The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod will also be opening on June 4 at 8:00 a.m. The property is offering up to 45 percent off on all room reservations. Owner Golden Entertainment, Inc. says that the property has implemented sanitation protocols at every touchpoint as well as other broad health and safety standards.

Golden Nugget's website updated Wednesday to share the hotel will reopen Wednesday, June 3 at 3 p.m., and the rest of the downtown property will reopen June 4.

El Cortez in downtown Las Vegas at Fremont and 6th streets will reopen June 4, said the property's general manager, as reported by FOX5. "We are opening on June 4th. We assume it will be 12 a.m. and we will be opening the doors as soon as we are allowed to do so," said GM Adam Wiesberg.

Ellis Island Casino and Brewery also confirmed they will reopen June 4. The property is at 4178 Koval Lane, near the Las Vegas Strip and Flamingo Road. A representative for the Silverton Casino Hotel on Blue Diamond Road off the Strip said they plan to reopen June 4 at 10 a.m.

In a statement, South Point announced they will reopen June 4 pending approval. "Pending final approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Governor’s office, South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa is planning to open on June 4, 2020," a property spokesperson said in a statement.

Tuscany confirmed on Twitter Wednesday the casino would reopen June 4 at 4 a.m. The property had previously opened its hotel and pool.
