How do you evaluate your participation in G2E?
We generally evaluate participation at the show by the number of visitors to our booth, the location from where they have travelled and their level of interest in existing and new technologies.

We are particularly excited about the opportunities coming out of this year’s G2E show. Most notable was the tremendous response we received to the introduction of our new GEN3 Evolution printer. Designed specifically with promotional couponing in mind, the GEN3 Evolution printer features double the print speed and offers over double the ticket capacity compared to other gaming printers. It is also the first gaming printer equipped with separate processing environments for TITO and promotional couponing.

FutureLogic also presented the PromoNet promotional couponing solution. We featured a live interactive demo showcasing this patent-pending, easy-to-use, flexible and cost-effective PromoNet solution on gaming machines from Aristocrat Technologies, IGT, WMS Gaming, Atronic and Spielo, Bally Technologies, Konami Gaming and Novomatic.

In addition, FutureLogic featured our innovative TableXchange printer/scanner, which connects table games to the casino’s existing TITO network by scanning and printing TITO vouchers at the table. We also showcased our Eclipse universal ticket and receipt printer, which is designed for Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), betting terminals and unattended kiosks.

What was the feedback from visitors and customers?
Feedback about the show and the industry in general was fairly positive. Alongside several pockets of growth around the world, there was a feeling of cautious optimism as the global economy continues to slowly recover. What we continue to see is that when casinos do invest they are tending to buy the best, most advanced equipment which delivers overall value for money. As a leader in technology innovation, this is good news for FutureLogic.

What was their response to your products and new launches?
Visitors and customers were particularly interested in creating their own marketing campaigns with real-time triggers then playing on the slots to determine if hitting the triggers would print out their promotional coupons. Players ended up staying longer and playing more so they could hit their next trigger and get another voucher. Visitors especially welcomed the news of our next-generation GEN3 Evolution printer. This product takes printing to a new level with the latest printing and communications technologies including photographic-quality printing for eye-catching coupons, increased ticket capacity to 450-tickets saving operators up to 30 refills per printer per year, and a print speed of eight inches per second, which delivers a ticket in less than one second.

How did you see this edition regarding G2E 2009?
Attendance seemed to be up slightly this year compared to last year, particularly from South America, Europe and Asia.

In your opinion, did the show demonstrate a recovery from de global crisis?
The show demonstrated a continued move toward recovery

How was this year for your company?
2010 saw continued advancement for FutureLogic despite the ongoing challenges of adapting to an industry that was hard hit by the global economic crisis.

We have focused on building stronger and longer term relationships and technology partnerships that will take us through the next two to three years of recovery. We believe investing in innovative technologies and intellectual property is not just important for FutureLogic but also for all our customers and the industry. We were honored that FutureLogic’s new GEN3 Evolution printer was selected as IGT's preferred technology partner. Additionally, our TableXchange printer was named as Best Productivity-Enhancement Technology for 2010 at Global Gaming Business magazine’s 8th Annual Gaming & Technology (G&T) Awards. And just recently, our new GEN3 Evolution printer won a G&T award.

Which are your plans for next year?
We continually conduct studies around player behavior and loyalty, looking for ways to create new products and applications that enhance the gaming experience.  In addition to providing robust hardware and software solutions, our service-oriented management approach reflects our goal to be our customers’ best technology partner. By partnering with global EGMs and maintaining a nimble, flexible operation, we will continue to deliver the pioneering designs, high-performance products and world-class support that will be needed to advance in this market. Our mission is to continue providing “innovative printing and couponing solutions.”
