Circa Sports’ flagship NFL contest, Circa Survivor, retained more than 90% of entrants after Week 2, the highest survival rate in the history of the annual survivor-style competition.
Circa Survivor, which drew 18,718 entries competing for over $18 million, saw only 1,180 eliminated in the latest round, leaving 16,965 still in play.
The top five picks all won their matchups, with Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Detroit winning comfortably, while Arizona and Dallas survived tighter contests. Dallas needed overtime to beat New York, narrowly avoiding a tie that would have eliminated all selections for either team.
Pittsburgh, the sixth most-picked team, lost to Seattle and knocked out 491 entries. Other teams that cost players more than 100 eliminations included Minnesota, Miami, and Houston.
By comparison, just 27.2% of the field reached Week 3 last year, while the previous record high was 73.2% in 2021.
Circa Grandissimo, a new luxury version of the contest featuring 69 entries and a $6.9 million prize pool, saw its first elimination in Week 2. One entry, “Blue Jay Way Too,” was knocked out after picking Pittsburgh, while the remaining 68 advanced.
