On November 12 and 13, the Dominican Republic will host the final stop of the GAT Events 2025 Circuit with GAT Expo Santo Domingo, taking place at the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino. The event will feature a rich academic program, a commercial exhibition, and multiple networking spaces.

The Dominican Republic has become one of the most complete and active gaming ecosystems in the Caribbean, with the simultaneous presence of land-based casinos, lottery and sports betting shops, online gaming platforms, and both state-owned and private operators. The country has over 30,000 authorized lottery outlets, one of the largest per-capita networks in Latin America. Moreover, it continues to advance regulatory updates for remote gaming and digital sports betting.

Currently, the legal gaming industry generates over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs, and the regulatory body continues to strengthen its technological modernization with real-time digital supervision and greater regulatory traceability to protect players and ensure operational transparency among licensed operators.

In this context, the academic agenda will align with the Dominican and Caribbean industry landscape, according to the organizers.

The academic sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. on November 12 with an inaugural ceremony led by Claudia Álvarez, Director of Casinos and Gaming at the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Finance.

The opening session will be attended by Marco Emilio Hincapié, President of Coljuegos (Colombia); David Moniz, President of the Dominican Association of Gaming Casinos (ADCJ); Yamile Gutiérrez, Partner at G&G Studio Legal and Director of GAT Santo Domingo; and José Aníbal Aguirre, host and CEO of GAT Events.

Throughout the day—morning and afternoon—conferences and panels will cover key topics such as the regulatory landscape in the Dominican Republic, regional legislative developments with the participation of the country’s Directorate of Casinos and Gaming, Coljuegos (Colombia), and the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission.

Additional topics include casino sector projections, the progress of the Dominican Republic’s Gambling Bill, regional updates on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CFT), emerging trends in sports betting, responsible gaming, innovation in virtual betting, and technology applied to land-based and online operations.

The audience will include more than 200 participants, including business leaders, legal experts, operators, suppliers, association executives, and international brand representatives from 15 countries.

The day will close with a welcome cocktail at 7:00 p.m., designed to strengthen commercial relationships and foster connections across the regional ecosystem.

Trade exhibition

On Thursday, November 13, the Anacaona Hall of the Renaissance Jaragua will transform into a showcase of casino and gaming technology, open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Attendees will directly explore the commercial offerings, new products, and services of exhibitors and sponsors.

The organizers highlighted that Platinum Sponsors for GAT Expo Santo Domingo include Pragmatic Play, Raza Carreras, and Juancito Sport, along with Exclusive Sponsors BetConstruct and GLI, who will participate with strong brand presence and visibility.

The exhibition area will feature a diverse lineup of companies, including Raza Carreras, IGC, Orobet Texas Slots, Red ATM, GYG Promociones, America Simulcast, Betting Software, Colombo Sport Digitain, Golden Race, Soll Systems, Raza Real, Lotobet, G&G Studio Legal, Fininvest, Mobadoo, Casino Parts, Casino Garage, and DEMP Innovations. José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming edition, stating: “The Dominican Republic is experiencing a very positive economic moment, and the legal gaming industry is part of that progress. Next week, all roads in the Dominican Republic lead to Santo Domingo, which continues to strengthen its position as a strategic Caribbean market.”

He added: “We are fulfilling our mission by connecting the public and private players who will shape the industry’s evolution in the years ahead. Let’s go all in for 2026!”
