The firm started manufacturing chips in 2009

Gemaco received orders for gaming chips in casinos soon to open in Delaware and Pennsyvania

(US).- Gemaco announced that it has recently received orders for over 850,000 gaming chips for casinos soon to open in Delaware and Pennsylvania. “We are obviously quite pleased with the reception we are getting to our gaming chips”, said Jason Fitzhugh, President of Gemaco Inc’s Casino Division.

F

itzhugh added: “With the orders we now have in hand coupled with what we have already shipped YTD, we are pleased to say we have crossed the 1,000,000 chip threshold for 2010”. Then, he concluded: “Aside from the obvious benefit of the sales we hope these orders not only shine the spotlight on Gemaco’s chip line but ultimately convince decision makers that there is another high quality gaming chip alternative out there”.

Gemaco started manufacturing chips in 2009 after acquiring substantially all of the assets of an injection molding company in the Kansas City area that had produced the Bud Jones chip for many years.  “The interesting thing that most don’t realize is that for many years literally millions of Bud Jones branded chips were made right here in the Kansas City area and it was this very company that Gemaco acquired” Fitzhugh concluded.

Gemaco Inc, located in Blue Springs, Missouri USA near Kansas City, is a leading manufacturer of playing cards, gaming chips and gaming table coverings for the gaming industry. It is also the largest U.S. manufacturer of playing cards for the promotional products industry.  Gemaco’s sister company, GemAsia LLC manufactures and installs gaming table coverings in two locations in Macau, China and supplies playing cards, gaming chips and other gaming products and accessories to the gaming industry throughout Asia.
