Visitors traveling from South Boston and surrounding areas will soon have a new transportation option to the Caesars Virginia casino, with Dignified Transfer LLC launching a scheduled shuttle service starting Sunday.
The round-trip service will operate multiple times a week from the company’s South Boston office at 606 Broad St., connecting riders to Caesars Virginia in Danville and to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.
The shuttle will charge on a per-seat basis, with fares set at $45 for a round trip to the casino and $55 for a one-way trip to Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Along the airport route, vehicles will stop at local destinations including Berry Hill Resort and, once completed, the future Rook Hotel in downtown South Boston.
Online booking opens Friday. Shuttle schedules, ticket prices, and additional transportation services are available on the company’s website.
The service will operate under Dignified Transfer’s newly created Southern Transfer brand, developed specifically for Halifax County. The brand will provide airport, casino, and wedding transportation. VIP transportation will also be available for corporate customers supporting high-level visitors.
Instead of shuttle buses, the company will use Cadillac limousines across its routes.
