New Hampshire's The Brook donates record $12.6 million to charities in 2025

The Brook, a charity casino located just over the Massachusetts–New Hampshire border, delivered a record $12.6 million to local charities in 2025, pushing its total donations since 2019 past $41 million.

The casino, which bills itself as America’s Largest Charity Casino, operates under New Hampshire’s charity gaming model, under which a portion of gaming revenue is allocated to local organizations through rotating five- to ten-day cycles. The structure allows for regular funding across a range of causes, including hunger relief, mental health services, early childhood education, and medical transportation.

The Brook’s charitable contributions have supported programs such as free medical flights for critically ill patients through Angel Flight NE and wish-granting initiatives for children with serious illnesses through Make-A-Wish New Hampshire.

“What sets The Brook apart is our unwavering commitment to the communities we serve,” Chief Executive Officer Andre Carrier said in a statement. “Every visitor who walks through our doors becomes part of something larger – a charitable mission that's transforming lives throughout the region. We're proving that businesses can be both profitable and purposeful, and we're just getting started."

Carrier leads what the company describes as the only 100% employee-owned hospitality resort casino company in the United States.

Among the beneficiaries in 2025 was Kingston Children’s Center, which received more than $80,000 in charity funding. The organization used the funds for facility upgrades and staff development initiatives without increasing costs for families.

“The Brook's support has been game-changing for us,” said Jemima Chapman, Program Director at Kingston Children’s Center. “The Brook's partnership allows us to maintain a high-quality early education program with well-trained staff and excellent materials without raising prices astronomically for parents. For a program serving around 100 families, this support makes all the difference."

NH Hunger Solutions also received more than $66,000 in charity funding, which it used to support advocacy work and expand access to nutrition programmes.

"We truly appreciate The Brook's continued investment in NH Hunger Solutions. These funds supported our advocacy, community partnerships, and efforts to reduce barriers to programs like SNAP and school meals,” said Laura Milliken, Executive Director of NH Hunger Solutions.

“We are deeply grateful for their commitment to the communities they serve and for being such a reliable partner in this work," Milliken added.

The 75-acre property, located about 40 miles north of Boston, features more than 600 gaming machines, live table games, a 10-table poker room, New England’s largest sportsbook, and New Hampshire’s largest Stadium Gaming experience.

Beyond gaming, The Brook includes multiple dining and entertainment venues, including 9 Dragons, an Asian dining concept developed in collaboration with the Kowloon restaurant, the Forbidden City lounge, Lucky’s restaurant, and the 300-seat Seasons Showroom, which hosts live music and comedy performances.
