Boomerang Partners has announced the winners of the inaugural Golden Boomerang League, a two-month sports-traffic affiliate competition that concluded on Oct. 31 and drew 68 participating teams.

The awards were presented on Nov. 4 during SiGMA Central Europe in Rome. QQMedia took first place, followed by Apex Media and Luis Xavier. All three reached the final draw after generating more than 20 first-time deposits (FTDs) for sports brands in Boomerang Partners’ client portfolio.

QQMedia, which secured an automatic qualifying spot for the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026, said the win validated its approach to traffic generation. “The win means a lot to us because it proves our concept. The way we drive traffic is unique; nobody does it like we do,” the company’s CEO said.

“I think most people still live in the past... In my opinion, marketing has changed a lot. Influencers are now more powerful than major athletes or actors... We have, and that’s why we’re doubling down on influencer marketing,” he said.

The team plans to pursue an exclusive partnership next year to maximise its performance. The CEO described the overall tournament experience as “inspiring.”

Luis Xavier won an AC Milan Experience package including travel, accommodation, and attendance at a home match at San Siro - an award made possible through Boomerang Partners’ role as an official regional partner of the Italian club.

“This victory means a great deal. It reflects all the dedication and ambition in the work done until today,” said the CEO of Luis Xavier. “It’s not a matter of strategy. When you know you have to achieve a goal, you just do it. We only stop when it’s accomplished.”

Apex Media also secured the AC Milan Experience package. The company’s head of sales said the win reinforced its commitment to Boomerang Partners. “The fact that we won this competition only inspired us to continue working with Boomerang Partners, maybe even more,” he said.

The team, which previously attended an AC Milan match against AS Roma, expects the Milan trip to serve as a rare in-person gathering for its remote workforce. Apex Media aims to continue expanding globally and diversifying its business. “I cannot wait to spend beautiful moments in this town and bring our whole team together,” he added.

The Golden Boomerang League was Boomerang Partners’ first affiliate tournament dedicated solely to sports traffic. The company said it plans further sports-focused initiatives in 2026, with updates to be announced via its official website and social channels.
