Casino gaming supplier Zitro has made a contribution to the ICE Barcelona donor fund, an initiative that channels industry funding toward social projects connected to responsible gaming and sustainability.
The contribution was formally acknowledged during a fund handover ceremony at ICE 2026, which ran January 19-21 at the Gran Fira venue. The donation aligns with Zitro’s broader environmental, social and governance framework.
“At Zitro, we believe that industry growth must go hand in hand with corporate social responsibility,” said Albert Zorrilla, Zitro’s general director for Spain. “Supporting initiatives like ICE Barcelona’s charitable fund allows us to actively contribute to projects that create a real positive impact and promote sustainable practices that benefit society as a whole.”
ICE Barcelona also addressed the contribution, citing the role of supplier participation in the program. “The involvement of companies like Zitro is essential to the success of ICE Barcelona’s charitable program. Their support demonstrates the industry’s commitment to social responsibility,” ICE Barcelona said.
ICE Barcelona’s donor fund operates within the event’s responsible gaming and sustainability framework, providing a mechanism for industry stakeholders to direct contributions toward social initiatives alongside commercial participation.
