ICE Barcelona 2026 organizers are finalizing a Spanish industry-focused agenda developed in collaboration with national and regional associations, including ANESAR, Policia Nacional, Jdigital, and CEJUEGO, as part of Clarion Gaming's ongoing engagement with gambling stakeholders across Spain.
The agenda, curated with support from organizations such as Acordjoc, Club de Convergentes, COFAR, Cumbre Iberoamericana del Juego, and several regional associations, will include discussions on illegal gambling, regulatory developments, and Ibero-American cooperation. It will also offer networking opportunities designed for participants from across the sector.
The dedicated Spanish program will be hosted at La Plaza, located in Hall 3 of the Fira Barcelona Gran Via, during ICE Barcelona 2026.
Clarion Gaming’s collaboration with Spanish associations has been reinforced through participation in local industry gatherings, including the 18th Congress of Castilla y León. Ewa Bakun, Clarion Gaming’s Director of Industry Insight and Engagement, attended the event and met with association leaders.
“We were thrilled to be able to connect with the key associations organizing the event, in particular with Isabel Fernandez and Luis Gonzales, respectively the president and technical secretary of SAJUCAL,” Bakun said. “I would like to congratulate the association on the success of the event that brought together so many industry professionals and to say how grateful we are for the hospitality extended to us.”
During the congress, Bakun noted that the collaboration between the local government of Castilla y León and the private sector serves as “a laudable example of cooperation.” The regional gambling sector, she said, operates 115 gambling halls, more than 16,000 machines in bars, three casinos, and 17 bingo halls. These activities contribute about €60 million in tax revenue and generate approximately 2,000 jobs for the local economy.
Bakun said Clarion Gaming’s participation in industry events such as the Congress of Castilla y León helps the company stay connected with developments in Spain’s gambling landscape. “ICE has been built on a steadfast commitment to work with its community of stakeholders to deliver the features and an at-show experience that meets their specific needs and requirements,” she said.
She added that engaging directly with industry representatives allows Clarion to understand “the issues shaping the Spanish market — from regulation and social responsibility to innovation and sustainability.” These connections, Bakun said, ensure that ICE Barcelona evolves in step with industry priorities and supports a forward-looking environment for the sector.
