SYNOT Games heads into SBC Summit Lisbon with innovation, engagement, and market diversity at the forefront of its strategy. The company is highlighting its expanding portfolio of more than 220 titles, including the upcoming Age of Anubis and fan favorites such as Age of Pyramids, Volcano Explosive, and Firebird 27 at the show, which runs September 16-18. In addition, SYNOT is presenting PEAK, its comprehensive player retention tool, designed to deliver customizable campaigns that drive loyalty and enhance operator performance.

Ahead of the event, Yogonet spoke with Andrea Kolarcik Machackova, Chief Marketing Officer; Martina Krajci, Chief Commercial Officer; and Brian Hallas, Head of Game Product. They shared their perspectives on the role of SBC Summit Lisbon, the design philosophy behind SYNOT’s latest titles, and how the company is building scalable solutions to meet the needs of operators and players across different global markets.

SYNOT Games has a strong presence at SBC Summit Lisbon this year, with both your team and portfolio in the spotlight. What does this event represent for you compared to other international expos? How important is the human factor (meeting face-to-face) in building trust and partnerships in this industry?

Andrea Kolarcik Machackova: It is one of the most important events in the European iGaming calendar. Yet, it attracts global leaders, which means that anyone aiming for a strong market position must showcase themselves at their very best. For us, attending SBC Summit Lisbon is a confirmation of SYNOT Games’ strong standing in the industry and an excellent opportunity to present our diverse game portfolio.

Events like this are always a chance to reconnect with our long-term partners, but also to meet new ones with whom we can establish valuable and profitable collaborations. SBC Summit Lisbon is not only about the official exhibition – it also offers numerous networking events and gatherings that allow us to connect on a more personal level, which is crucial in an industry like iGaming, where people and relationships remain the key to success.

And of course, Lisbon itself is a wonderful city, full of stunning architecture and local culture, which makes the whole experience even more inspiring.

One of the main highlights is the early preview of Age of Anubis. What can visitors expect from this upcoming game, and how does it reflect your broader approach to creating immersive slots?

Brian Hallas: Age of Anubis is our spin on the classic Egyptian slot, but it’s a whole different vibe compared to the last released Age of Pyramids. This time, we kept things simpler with a straight-up 5x3 and 20 paylines but added a few twists to keep it exciting.

In the base game, players can hit wild multipliers up to x8, so even a regular spin can blow up into something big, especially when Anubis shows up. Then the bonus round really changes the pace – players are only playing the three middle reels in a criss-cross mode, and chasing wilds there can trigger some top-level payouts.

It’s quick, fun, and very much our style – taking a classic format and giving it those unexpected moments that keep players hooked. Age of Anubis also highlights that we aim to design games within a similar theme but tailored to different player groups – some love complex gameplay packed with features, while others prefer simpler mechanics that let them focus on a clear, specific goal.

Alongside Age of Anubis, you’ll also showcase player favorites like Age of Pyramid, Volcano Explosive, and Firebird 27. What makes these games stand out in your portfolio, and what role will they play in your display at the show?

Brian Hallas: We’re excited to showcase not just the upcoming Age of Anubis, but also player favorites from our broad portfolio of over 220 games. Each title highlights a unique strength in our expanding strategy – for example, Age of Pyramids, with its five independent reel features, is perfect for players who enjoy a variety of mechanics and longer gaming sessions.

Volcano Explosive, with its dynamic reels and instant jackpot potential, appeals to those who love quick action, surprises, and big win opportunities. Firebird 27 is a classic fruit-themed 3×3 slot designed for players seeking fast-paced, visually striking gameplay. Its 27 ways to win offer more frequent payouts and shorter sessions, delivering intense action and dazzling animations.

Since the founding of SYNOT Games, we have strived to offer diversity in our slots so that every player can find something for themselves. Together, these titles perfectly reflect our approach to creating innovative slots. We provide a range of experiences that cater to different player preferences, from complex, feature-rich games to simpler, fast-paced gameplay.

Andrea Kolarcik Machackova: Every game is designed with creativity, engagement, and accessibility in mind, ensuring that whether a player enjoys long, strategic sessions or quick bursts of excitement, there is something that resonates with them. At the SBC Summit Lisbon, these titles will give visitors a chance to experience both our most popular hits and the creative innovation that defines SYNOT Games.

PEAK, your retention tool, is getting a big push at SBC Lisbon. Could you explain how features like Dream Dial, Tournaments, and Prize Drop are driving player engagement for operators?

Martina Krajci: At SBC Summit Lisbon, we’re proud to put a spotlight on PEAK, our retention tool designed to maximize player engagement and bring measurable value to operators. Features such as Dream Dial, Tournaments, and Prize Drop deliver excitement through real-time interaction, healthy competition, and instant rewards – all elements proven to extend player sessions and increase brand loyalty.

What makes PEAK powerful is that it is fully customizable, seamlessly integrated, and scalable across markets, allowing operators to create unique experiences tailored to their specific audience. Ultimately, these tools are not just about entertainment – they are about enhancing retention, driving acquisition, and providing operators with a competitive edge in a highly dynamic iGaming landscape.

We can already reveal a glimpse of what’s coming next – PEAK will soon be upgraded with two new features, Challenges and Qualifications, giving operators a comprehensive toolset for almost unlimited campaign configuration and the ability to run cross-campaigns in one environment. To avoid spoiling the surprise, we suggest following us on social media, where we will be sharing more details soon.

SYNOT emphasizes tailoring solutions to different markets. How do you see this strategy playing out in regions like Latin America and Europe, where regulations and player behavior can be so different?

Martina Krajci: At SYNOT Games, tailoring solutions to each market is central to our strategy, and the differences between Europe and Latin America perfectly illustrate why this approach is crucial.

In Europe, the iGaming market is highly regulated and mature, with players expecting premium-quality slots, live casino experience, and personalized campaigns. Operators must comply with strict licensing requirements, fair play standards, and responsible gaming policies, which means our solutions need to be fully compliant and secure to meet these demands.

In contrast, Latin America is an emerging market with a rapidly growing interest in online slots and casino games, although regulations vary significantly between countries. Player behavior is more mobile-centric and socially driven, with a strong preference for exciting, fast-paced experiences and attractive bonus offers. Infrastructure differences also play a role, as internet connectivity and payment methods can be inconsistent across the region.

Latin and South America still have a lot of unregulated markets, which exclude our operation there, because the philosophy of safe, secure, and fully legal gambling drives us. Of course, we always rise to the challenge and strive to be in every market where iGaming is fully transparent and regulated.

SYNOT Games has been shortlisted for two categories at the SBC Awards: Casino / Slots Developer of the Year – Medium and Industry Innovation of the Year. What does this recognition mean for the team at such a pivotal moment?

Andrea Kolarcik Machackova: Being shortlisted for two categories at the SBC Awards is a fantastic recognition for the whole SYNOT Games team. It highlights not only the hard work, creativity, and dedication we put into developing innovative slots and casino solutions, but also the strength of our ever-growing portfolio, which now has over 220 thrilling titles.

We’re especially proud of the Industry Innovation of the Year nomination with PEAK and its new Dream Dial feature – it shows how we’re creating tools that boost player engagement, give operators fresh solutions, and raise industry standards.

And of course… we like to have a little fun along the way – after all, who doesn’t enjoy a good party after the summit?

Beyond SBC Summit Lisbon, what can operators and players expect next on your development roadmap, both in terms of new titles and technological innovation? Finally, for visitors coming to Booth B370, what’s the one thing you hope they will take away from their interaction with SYNOT Games?

Martina Krajci: Looking further, operators and players can expect even more games from SYNOT Games, of course.

We’re particularly excited about our upcoming release, Age of Anubis, which we believe has the potential to replicate the success of Age of Pyramids, albeit with entirely different mechanics and features. On the technology side, we continue to develop PEAK. As was mentioned before, it will include two brand-new functions: Challenges and Qualifications, providing operators with even more flexibility and tools to engage players.

For visitors coming to Booth B370, we hope they take away a clear understanding of SYNOT Games as a company that’s setting the direction for new technological innovations and aiming to play an even bigger role in the market. We also want to firmly establish our commitment to safe and fully regulated gaming in the minds of our partners and players, which guides every strategic decision we make.

However, the summit at its heart is a social event that brings people together, and we hope our guests leave with the impression of having met a smart and friendly team that can conduct serious business while still having fun!
