Acres expands into HHR market through Foundation HQ installations in partnership with PCI Gaming

Casino loyalty and technology expert Acres Manufacturing Company has announced, in partnership with PCI Gaming, the installation of its Foundation HQ casino management system and PCI’s PLS 1:1 Loyalty Platform at Mobile Greyhound Racing (MGR) and Birmingham Race Course (BRC).

These deployments mark Acres’ entry into the Historical Horse Racing (HHR) market and represent the second and third properties operated by PCI to install Foundation HQ and PLS, the parties announced.

By implementing Foundation HQ, each facility can leverage PCI’s PLS (Player Loyalty System) and Express Offer reward engine to deliver personalized, data-driven messages, incentives, and engagement tools directly to individual players. These systems enable high-frequency, tailored offers across multiple channels, in an effort to engage players both on and off the casino floor.

The combined solution has already proven effective at PCI’s Magic City Casino in Miami, FL, which installed Foundation HQ and PLS in 2024. In the first 12 months following deployment, slot revenue at the property increased by 8%, according to public figures. 

The hike in revenue led Magic City to become the market leader during a period when statewide net slot revenue remained flat or declined slightly, as reported by the Florida Gaming Control Commission. "This demonstrates a clear path for operators to build and scale revenues and market share through a strategy centered on personalization and high-frequency marketing," says Acres Manufacturing.

Foundation HQ is powered by Acres’ Foundation hardware, which streams slot machine data through a standardized API that can be integrated with any application the casino chooses. With this technology, casinos can deploy targeted messages, dynamic incentives, and interactive bonus games to create player experiences designed to maximize engagement and profitability.

Player Loyalty System (PLS) by PCI ingests real-time spin-level data in concert with other inputs into an individual player profile and rewards players based on their own activity with reinvestment offers that align with that individual player’s preferences.
