Pennsylvania’s online casinos generated $228.3 million in adjusted gross revenue (AGR) in July, the second-highest monthly total in state history, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported. Only March, which posted $238.2 million, has been higher.
Year-to-date, taxable operator winnings have reached $1.56 billion, up 28.9% compared with the same period in 2024, as per Casino Reports. July’s numbers alone represent a 30.9% increase over last year.
The state’s share of tax revenue totaled $67.4 million in July, bringing 2025 receipts above $450 million. Since the launch of digital gaming in July 2019, players have wagered more than $300 billion, with the 12 licensed operators reporting $7.06 billion in drop for July.
Penn Entertainment, which operates BetMGM and DraftKings, once again led all licensees with $87.8 million in revenue—a 37.2% increase from July 2024 and the third-highest monthly total in the state’s history. The company also reached a milestone as its digital platforms surpassed $1 billion in cumulative revenue from non-poker table games.
Despite a year-low $2.82 billion drop in wagers, Penn’s digital platforms saw action rise 20.2% compared with July 2024. FanDuel Casino maintained a clear second place with $61 million in revenue, a 34.1% year-over-year increase, though its $1.95 billion drop marked its lightest wagering month of 2025.
Rivers Casino rounded out the top three with $37.8 million in revenue, fueled by a record $5.3 million in table games winnings, a 50.8% jump from July 2024. Caesars Palace reported $10.5 million, up 10.8%, marking the fifth consecutive month exceeding $10 million in revenue.
Three additional operators surpassed $5 million in monthly revenue. Golden Nugget led the mid-tier with $7.6 million, a 37.1% increase despite paying out more than it collected on table games for the second consecutive month. Slots revenue helped offset the payout, resulting in a record $7.7 million AGR.
BetParx reached $5.6 million in revenue, up 14.9% year-over-year, marking its fifth consecutive month above the $5 million mark. Live! Casino also surpassed $5 million, with $5.08 million in revenue, driven by a record $4.6 million in slots winnings, despite table games revenue halving to $483,400.
Meanwhile, Mount Airy posted a 29.3% drop to $2.8 million, while Bally’s revenue declined 4% to $3.3 million.
