iGaming solutions provider Wazdan has shared insights into its Mystery Drop feature, a promotional tool that incorporates random cash awards into slot sessions.
The feature can trigger at any point during play, after which the player sees a 3x3 grid of mystery boxes to choose from. Each pick reveals a cash prize, which can range from smaller wins to larger jackpot-level payouts.
The company noted that Mystery Drop is designed to integrate without additional technical work from the operator. Wazdan manages the configuration and provides the required marketing materials for deployment.
Mystery Drop allows operators to adjust settings, including currency, minimum wagers, campaign timelines, and prize structures. The tool can also be configured to target specific player groups, such as VIP customers, or to coincide with seasonal or themed events.
“Such configurability ensures that operators can deliver personalised, brand-aligned experiences while still leveraging Mystery Drop’s engaging core mechanic,” the company said.
Wazdan reported that campaigns using Mystery Drop have shown measurable growth in unique active users, game rounds, and total betting volumes. The company said operators have also experienced longer session durations and increased player retention.
Mystery Drop was named “Game Feature of the Year 2023” at the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards.
