HIPTHER has introduced a Responsible Gambling Assessment Tool across its gaming media platforms, aimed at helping individuals evaluate their gambling behaviors.

The tool, which requires no sign-up or personal data, is based on the Problem Gambling Severity Index (PGSI), a standardized 9-question framework used globally to assess gambling risk.

Anonymous, multilingual, and mobile-first

The tool is designed to be completed in under two minutes and is offered in five languages. It is accessible across all devices, adheres to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards, and is fully GDPR compliant. No user data is stored or collected, and the tool is intended for individual self-assessment rather than diagnostic purposes.

According to HIPTHER, the assessment provides users with instant feedback and practical suggestions, depending on their self-reported risk level, whether low, moderate, or high. The tool also connects users to regional support resources when applicable.

"While our media platforms primarily serve the B2B side of the industry, we know they're also visited by players looking for insights and updates. That's why it's important for us to go beyond headlines and contribute real tools that support safer play. This assessment is one small, meaningful step toward that," said Zoltán Tűndik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER.

Available across HIPTHER platforms

The Responsible Gambling Assessment Tool is accessible through the following HIPTHER-owned platforms:

HIPTHER noted that although the majority of its content is developed for business audiences, the company recognizes the presence of players on its platforms and is offering the tool to provide direct, accessible assistance for those seeking information or help.

HIPTHER's deployment of the assessment tool is part of its initiatives centered on transparency and responsible gambling practices. The company noted that the project reflects collaboration with researchers and support organizations to adapt the tool to a digital-first, privacy-centered environment.
