Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City celebrated its seventh anniversary this week. Serving not only as a business milestone, the anniversary also marked a strategic occasion to connect with local residents and nonprofit organizations through a slate of community-focused events and charitable contributions.
Executives Jim Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International; George Goldhoff, President of Hard Rock Atlantic City; and Michael Sampson, General Manager, participated in a neighborhood town hall on June 25 at New Shiloh Baptist Church.
The event provided a forum for local residents to engage with company leadership. During the event, Hard Rock donated $10,000 to the church to support its community programs.
On June 26, Hard Rock employees worked with lookalikes of well-known musicians to pack 777 birthday-themed food boxes for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The boxes are used throughout the year to help food-insecure children celebrate birthdays.

Later that day, the company hosted a community luncheon and donated $7,000 each to seven local organizations. The beneficiaries were Jewish Family Service, Covenant House, The Arc of Atlantic County, Veterans Haven South, AC Pride, Diabetes Training Camp Foundation, and Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation. Total donations for the week amounted to $59,000.
“As we celebrate our anniversary, we proudly reflect on seven years of success, growth, and community connection,” said Goldhoff. “Together with our owners, the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and our partners, Jack Morris and Joe and Michael Jingoli, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible guests, dedicated team members, and our vibrant local community.”
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City opened in 2018. Since then, the resort has contributed millions to more than 500 organizations in Atlantic City and Atlantic County. The recent events continue a pattern of regular engagement, including public forums and charitable initiatives.
Anniversary entertainment events include a June 27 performance by Incubus with Manchester Orchestra and Paris Jackson, followed by fireworks. Jackson Browne is scheduled to perform on June 28.
