Gaming supplier Zitro has officially obtained the ISO 14064-1 certification, marking a significant step forward in its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The company has completed the certification process and now holds accreditation to manage its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all its global locations.
“This certification strengthens the corporate system with which Zitro manages its ESG objectives, aimed at the progressive reduction of CO₂ emissions,” the company said in a statement.
The standard’s scope encompasses three critical emission categories: Scope 1 covers direct emissions from company-owned and leased vehicles at all locations; Scope 2 addresses indirect emissions from electricity usage in offices, laboratories, and warehouses; and Scope 3 includes both direct and indirect emissions related to the value chain, such as suppliers, customers, business travel, product distribution, and waste management.
"The ISO 14064-1 certification represents an essential milestone for Zitro in consolidating a more sustainable business model aligned with the highest international standards in corporate responsibility," the company further stated.
Earlier this month, Zitro installed its new CONCEPT cabinet at Pechanga Resort Casino near Temecula, California.
The CONCEPT cabinet features Zitro’s synchronized Magic Lighting system, which dynamically responds to in-game elements and visual cues, creating a more engaging and immersive experience for players. This innovative system made its California debut at Pechanga.
