Las Vegas Grand Prix Inc. announced Saturday that Hard Rock International has joined the roster of presenting partners for the much-awaited Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Hard Rock is slated for construction on the current site of the Mirage Hotel & Casino, which the brand acquired in December and has a premier Strip vantage point for attendees at one of the most anticipated races of 2023.

As a presenting partner, Hard Rock will have its own Strip-adjacent grandstand structure, designed to seat up to 3,000 fans. The Mirage plans to host a variety of F1-centric events, and to provide fans with hospitality options on-premises.

Fans who signed up for the priority interest list by donating a lucky $7.77 to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation will have an opportunity to purchase The Mirage Grandstands tickets during their designated time slot beginning Wednesday, March 22.

Any remaining ticket will be available to the public via the Las Vegas Grand Prix website on Friday, March 24. Hard Rock will also work with the Las Vegas Grand Prix to launch a made-for-Vegas educational program with a focus on global hospitality, with more information to be shared in the coming months.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Las Vegas Grand Prix, said: “Like Formula 1, the Hard Rock brand is globally recognized with fans visiting from around the world. Our event’s high intensity and energy are a great match for the excitement associated with the Hard Rock, and we look forward to providing fans with another opportunity to watch the race from an exciting vantage point on the Las Vegas Strip."

Keith Sheldon, President of Hard Rock Entertainment for Hard Rock International, commented: “We are very excited to partner with Las Vegas Grand Prix. Inc. and to create one-of-a-kind experiences for our fans and guests alike at the inaugural race.”

“From our involvement with the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and as an official team partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing, we’re thrilled to continue to grow our involvement in the sport and know first-hand what it will take to plan and execute an extraordinary race experience in the sports and entertainment capital of the world,” he concluded.

Formula 1 and Liberty Media Corporation are currently working to promote the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The inaugural race weekend is set for November 16-18, 2023.

At night against the iconic Las Vegas backdrop, the track will see drivers reach jaw-dropping speeds of over 210 mph (340 kph) as they race around some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, hotels and hotels and casinos on the legendary Las Vegas Strip.
