Gaming Laboratories International hosted its 26th annual Regulators Roundtable on April 15–16 at the Palms Las Vegas, bringing together about 300 gaming regulators from 16 countries.

The two-day conference brought together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss a wide range of emerging topics shaping the future of gaming.

Key issues included artificial intelligence, cyber resilience, cashless gaming systems, digital responsible gaming tools, geolocation technologies, lottery modernization, and sports betting. Additional sessions explored asset protection, risk analysis, prediction markets, and strategies for enhancing patron safety.

The keynote address was delivered by Jonathan Fader, a sports performance psychologist and author of Life as Sport. Fader highlighted how principles from sports psychology can be applied in modern workplaces, emphasizing adaptability, performance under pressure, and managing high expectations in rapidly changing environments.

The event also featured an Innovation Tech Hub, where attendees experienced live demonstrations from several technology providers, including Bulletproof, EPIC, Evive, GLI University, Kobetron, KOIN, and Marker Trax.

We are grateful to the approximately 300 regulators from across North America and around the world who came to Las Vegas to learn more about what’s next and what’s on the horizon in gaming technology,” said GLI President & CEO James Maida. "It is important for regulators to stay as far ahead of technologies and issues as possible, and that is the purpose of the Regulators Roundtable, and we are honored to present the conference.”

The next Regulators Roundtable is scheduled for April 7–8, 2027, at the Palms Las Vegas.
