Sportsbook supplier BtoBet, an Aspire Global Group company, announced Thursday it has been granted a certification by the Dutch gaming authority, the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), thus allowing the company to provide its sportsbook platform to the Netherland's iGaming market.
BtoBet's Neuron 3 sportsbook platform is now fully compliant with Dutch regulations and ready-to-market, allowing local operator partners to provide a tailored betting experience to their players through its technology.
In an official press release, Dima Reiderman, BtoBet's COO, commented on this new milestone and said: “Receiving certification for the Dutch market offers significant growth opportunities for BtoBet, as we seek to bring first-class betting entertainment to players together with local operators".
"This certification, pending our entry in the Dutch market, will help to accelerate our foothold in the mature European market, as we continue to sustain our growth trajectory with a global market expansion strategy. Setting the basis for BtoBet’s entry to yet another regulated market highlights our commitment to strengthen our position as one of the leading sportsbook suppliers to the global industry,” he added.
Gambling in the Netherlands was legalized and regulated through the Remote Gambling Act, which was officially enacted on 1 April 2020. The market has been open in the country since October 2020.
In the months preceding the market’s regulation, BtoBet launched an Industry Report outlining the Dutch opportunity. The Dutch Betting Focus analyses the size of the online gambling market; growth forecasts; land-based vs online data; player preferences and engagement; the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the market, and demographic and technological accessibility overview.
Earlier this week, Aspire Global announced an agreement to provide its full turnkey platform solution, including managed services and BtoBet sportsbook, to Irish and UK online operator BoyleSports for its planned entry in the Netherlands.
