Winners League has announced a partnership with Bayes Esports Solutions, a company that provides the eSports market with reliable data in one place. Starting in April, Winners League viewers will have access to pre-match and live odds, live data, and curated results.
According to Winners League project lead Nick Gorbunov, this new partnership will allow WIN to present detailed data from the competitions to more operators, create more fan engagement with their current following, and help bring Winners League to more Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) players and fans.
“Our partnership with Bayes is a big step in the right direction for us,” he said. “We’ve been building our competition to be attractive for participants and viewers alike. Watching Season 3 had us on the edge of our seats, thanks to the incredibly deep talent pool on display. Many of these teams are on the cusp of breaking through to the next level of competition and have loyal fanbases watching them compete. It’s just an exciting narrative to follow.”
Winners League Season 3 had 225 teams from North America and Europe not only competing for their share of a $50,000 prize pool, but an opportunity to climb to the next level of competition. Over 280,000 people tuned in to watch the action, spread over 850 matches. Season 4 is set to begin in April, with details to be announced in the near future.
Bayes aims to help strengthen Winners League and the eSports ecosystem as a whole. Managing Director Martin Dachselt has noted that it’s a “fundamental problem” when eSports competitors cannot see professional eSports data. This was Bayes reason for developing BEDEX, the world’s first independent eSports data marketplace.
"I am convinced that with our solution, we can solve some of the underlying problems of eSports. Our neutral platform offers every single tournament organizer the opportunity to distribute and monetize their esports data,” Dachselt said.
WIN offers three main products. WIN.gg is an eSports media platform featuring editorial content, a database with thousands of player and team entries, and live scores and schedules that allow users to track the latest competitions in real-time. The second is Winners League, a competitive league structure that is based on the FACEIT platform. The third is Winners.bet, a sportsbook built from the ground up specifically for eSports and its native audience.
