Global Daily Fantasy Sports welcomes Executive William Scott to its board of directors

Scott has a diverse and extensive executive background in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, business development and commercial operations. He has built and developed new businesses in over 20 countries and overseen the deployment of significant capital in M&A, JVs and organic corporate start-ups.

Global Daily Fantasy Sports Inc announced the appointment of William Scott to the company’s Board of Directors. The company’s platform is a multi-tenant gateway that allows operators to offer their customers a Daily Fantasy Sports software solution.

Scott is a seasoned executive in the gaming industry with international experience across Commercial Gaming and Lottery. In addition, he is a non-executive Director of the South African National Lottery, Ithuba. Ithuba is the largest lottery operator in Africa. Mr. Scott currently works as an advisor and investor in the technology sector with a focus on the gaming industry. Prior to this, Mr. Scott worked for over 12 years at GTECH (now IGT).

Scott has a diverse and extensive executive background in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, business development and commercial operations. He has built and developed new businesses in over 20 countries and overseen the deployment of significant capital in M&A, JVs and organic corporate start-ups. In his varied experience, Mr. Scott has been responsible for, among other duties, developing market entry strategies, negotiating content agreements and identifying partnership opportunities for online gaming providers. Mr. Scott is regarded as a gaming industry expert and is frequently requested for speaking engagements at major gaming conferences around the world.
