This year we have reaped what we sowed. The result is wonderful, and the balance is doubled in comparison with last year.

How was the general gaming industry in a year with an economic crisis that affected many markets?
All around the globe, there is almost no place but undergoes the impact of economic crisis.  For gaming industry especially, the first half dropped a little, while the following half is prosperous.  In terms of container shipment, we see that the timing is more important for our European and Australian buyers.  Besides, the requests of new design flood in, so the sales interactions are active.  This business cycle could only be continued by overall operations.  So far so good, keep moving forward!

In your opinion, what was the most outstanding news of the year?
We are too happy to hear that the renaissance of the markets in Asia, Southeast Asia, and South America.  In Philippine and Laos, there are actually some small booming casinos.  The quantity of order might not be big, but after all it is an opportunity.  Some other concerns, like political and social stability, are taken in to account, too.  Still, as long as our machines are appreciated, it would be worth a try.

In your opinion, what was the most innovative product or service launched this year?
In Global Gaming Expo 2011, we have admired many “sexy” cabinets.  They all have nice figure on the main doors, two lines bending downward and reaching the button panels.  These hot chicks take the manufacturer an arm and a leg, but definitely also take away the visitors’ eyes from other normal machines.  In our dictionary, they are Slant Top series.  Our cabinets consist of basic curved shape with extra high-quality chrome plating.  They suit anyone who wishes to promote the luxurious and elegant playing experiences the best.

What are the company's plans for 2012?
As one of the professional gaming equipment suppliers, HYT will adopt these two cabinet design methods: the basic and the deluxe.  To be as concise and simple as we could, the former offers basic solutions to those who wishes to save expenses for their companies.  Meanwhile the latter, mostly with a beautiful curvy look, is what we save the best for the second-tier buyers.  For all time, we have been producing refined gaming hardware, and we relish very much with clients’ support.  That is, we have little chances to explore the field of software.  If more is more, why not trying it?  The assembly service is our breakthrough.  Joining international exhibitions is one of our routines besides production and sales: January 24th-26th ICE Totally Gaming in Earls Court, London; May 23rd-24th G2E Asia in The Venetian Macao; October 4th-6th Global Gaming Expo in the Sands Expo & Convention Center, Las Vegas.  We are on our marks now and ready to run into the coming new year.

How will be the 2012 for the gaming industry in general? Will it be similar to 2011? Do you think that we will see a growth in the activity?
After this year with an economic crisis that affected many markets, indeed we have been told that it might not be a profitable year for many markets, and same goes for gaming market.  The whole gaming industry is not tolerant of any risks.  It goes without saying that we must maintain the production capacity.  Thus the safest policy is that we should hold on to our old, trustworthy customers.  On the other hand, we are able to explore other new sales relationships.  Considering the economic condition, we must lay emphasis on pricing, which will still be the essential element to all decision making for the market.  Cost should at best be minimized.  It will be a bliss if the situation is different in 2012 and we would like to see a booming growth and development as well.
