GAT Expo 2020 organization has announced that the academic and commercial program is moving forward adding important support.
The full agenda offers a variety of activities: specialized training, corporate conferences, affiliate meetings, business tables on regulation in Latin America, assemblies of the associations Asojuegos, Cornazar and Fecoljuegos and an exhibition of products and services for land-based and online games, in the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center.
Coljuegos, the Colombian regulator, will also attend GAT Expo Cartagena. In the last two years it has approved 18 platforms to operate online games and recently authorized Virtual Games in its two modalities: virtual and prerecorded. These new games do not require more formalities than those already established for sports betting, a situation that favors investment and alliances of platforms specialized in this type of entertainment with operating companies in the region.
José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of the Colombian fair, states: “In ICE London last month, we consolidated our alliance with Clarion and Totally Gaming Academy, defining the contents of the courses that will be held on April 21 and 22.”
The Total Casino Management course will deal with administration, management, marketing, tables, slots and casino refurbishment with an exchange of experiences between students and teachers.
The Online Game Masterclass / Sportsbook will analyze the online gaming ecosystem and verticals such as sports betting, poker and bingo, among others. The operator's finances in a regulated market are part of the topics of this course. A subject that generates great expectations is the ‘Six steps for the expansion of land-based casinos to online’.
Aguirre states: “In fact, we are already receiving applications from various sectors of Colombia and abroad to participate in these academic days prior to the exhibition that will open on April 23 and 24.”
