hat results did you achieve at ICE? Were you able to meet the goals you had set before the show?
We were delighted to be part of the most prestigious gaming event of the year and encounter our friends, colleagues and business partners. The goals we established to reach at this trade show were multiple.
First of all, we arrived in London decided to spread the word about the upcoming solutions that are built on a brand new gaming platform and which will affect all our existing products. And second, we were present at the event in order to stay up-to-date with the latest emerging technologies that have appeared in the industry and could influence our own business.
What emerging trends caught your attention?
We were pleasantly surprised by the fast growth of iGaming industry in the European countries, but also around the world. At the same time, this market development couldn’t have been possible without creating and implementing a number of regulations to create the necessary frameworks that need to be offered to software companies, operators and players.
We could notice in the last years an important change in mentality and we could simply witness this occurrence by looking at the increasing number of people that enter the industry.
Overall, it is a constructive direction for our gaming businesses’ development, but there’s always space for improvements and we consider the local authorities and governments can (and should) do much more to prepare their local jurisdictions and connect the separate dots in the market.
How has the growth of igaming influenced the development of ICE 2016?
This ICE 2016 edition seems to have attracted the largest number of visitors ever and we were glad to be present and see this happening.
There is of course a growing interest in the online gambling industry and we are not talking only about players and media coverage, but the number of gaming companies are mounting every day too.
Additionally, this development is reflected in the number of conferences and gaming shows that appear throughout the world and which are not short in visitors. We believe the present trend will continue and we can only see positive changes in the future.
Which of your products attracted most attention from visitors?
First, allow me to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to those who attended our stand and asked for details on our gaming products and services.
Now, most business conversations reached topics connected to our sportsbook, casino and payment products, but we did have a large number of questions regarding our next generation platform.
As we have already informed our partners before reaching ICE, this event was mainly used by our company as a launch pad to inform the world of gaming on EveryMatrix’s software improvement.
What do you expect to happen after the show?
2016 is an important year for EveryMatrix and we are aware that our present software transformation will prove to be a major stepping stone in the following years for our company’s success.
Though our long term development plan has been drawn and we are constantly following its implementation, we have already received constructive feedback at ICE London 2016 on our forthcoming gaming solutions, which is an important phase if we want our development teams to reach the necessary focus and drive.
Moreover, we are happy to have secured the “One to Watch” award from Gaming Intelligence during the ICE London 2016 conference for our joint efforts to improve our software and we are determined to sustain our momentum.
What piece of advice would you give to next-generation gaming operators?
First of all, EveryMatrix is confident that start-ups and smaller operators will have their fair chance at reaching success on the iGaming market.
Though we know major differences affect different operators, from the money they are able to invest in their software and the experience they have collected along the years to the location they want to access, we can find a number of necessary features that should go into a gaming website to increase the overall success.
A major question any new operator needs to raise is what exactly makes the new gambling location unique? What are we bringing different to the table? At the same time, new operators need to offer the necessary attention to choosing the right software technological platform, while investing the right sum of money in promotion and marketing. Finally, new operators need to understand that success takes time. “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
