(Macau).- Sands China will “follow the rules directly” and continue to employ permanent residents as dealers. Las Vegas Sands president Michael Leven made the comments during a quarterly earnings call, Business Daily reported.

He told analysts the company had no intention of trying to lobby to change the rules.

Las Vegas Sands is the biggest shareholder in Sands China.

Leven told a seminar last month the informal arrangement to hire local croupiers would limit “the availability of people unless the government rules are changed”.
