Crane Payment Solutions announced five-euro notes successful implementation

(UK).- Crane Payment Solutions announced that all necessary preparations for the €5 Europa note were made and implemented for all its products ahead of the note’s release. The new five-euro notes began circulating in May. The firm has an established working relationship with the European Central Bank and worked with them from initial announcement of the new notes to ensure a successful implementation.

Erik Van Der Weide, Currency Coordinator at Crane Payment Solutions said: “We were able to update all of our current bill validators and recyclers and are currently experiencing no issues. Crane Payment Solutions updated all relevant software parts prior to circulation of the new €5 banknote and customers were informed in advance to allow for updating field applications.”

Van Der Weide added “One of our key values, whatever market you are in, is customer focus, so it is crucial that our products are ready for any introductions of currency or new legislation. Customers can rely on us that the introduction of the Europa series 10€ will be handled in a similarly effective way next year.”
