(US).- Wynn Resorts shareholders, led by a Louisiana police fund, can proceed with a revised lawsuit alleging that a donation to the University of Macau was improper and potentially illegal, Bloomberg reports.

The suit must be filed by April 8, according to signed order by US District Judge James Mahan in Las Vegas.

He dismissed the investors’ suit in February saying they did not convincingly show that Wynn and his directors had done anything wrong.

The suit is based on accusations by former Wynn Resorts director Kazuo Okada over the us$ 135 million donation its Macau-based subsidiary, Wynn Macau, made to the University of Macau in January 2012.
