Penn National Gaming names Corporate VP of Marketing

(US).- Penn National Gaming announced that, subject to customary regulatory approvals, Gaye Gullo has been named Corporate Vice President of Marketing. She assumed this position on November 10, and will report directly to Penn National Gaming President and Chief Operating Officer, Timothy J. Wilmott.

ullo brings to Penn National over 20 years of diverse regional and major market casino resort experience, over which time she led corporate and property specific marketing initiatives for several regional and major market properties with a focus on driving operational improvements and returns from marketing budgets.

Gullo most recently served as Vice President Customer Relationship Management at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut where she established and implemented player loyalty programs and customer communication strategies to develop and retain key players and enhance customers’ spend per visit.

Prior to joining Mohegan Sun, she held various senior management positions at Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. over nearly 20 years, developing integrated marketing strategies at the corporate and local level in markets including Nevada, New Jersey, Illinois, Tennessee and Iowa, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Horseshoe and Harrah’s Casinos in Council Bluffs, IA from 2004-2007.

Commenting on the appointment, Timothy J. Wilmott said: “Gaye has an accomplished track record of success in the development of highly effective marketing programs at a broad range of competitive major market and regional gaming facilities. Her experience in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing initiatives that produce measurable, return-focused results is an excellent complement to Penn National’s diversified and expanding property portfolio. Gaye’s appointment also extends Penn National’s initiatives to solidify its corporate infrastructure to achieve further operational efficiencies and to implement targeted regional marketing initiatives and operational best practices. Gaye has worked extensively in several of the key markets where Penn operates and we look forward to the benefit that her experience at some of the country’s leading gaming facilities will bring to Penn National and its network of regional gaming facilities.”
