PAL and IGT anticipate entering into a definitive agreement for a mutually beneficial relationship to develop complementing product offerings for the gaming market and new server-based system technology.

"Server-based products will need to go beyond machine connectivity and common protocols to allow for system connectivity and coexistence on an open network," said Steve Morro, COO of IGT. "The demonstration at G2E is an example of this and is further evidence of our commitment to an open network using GSA protocols and our spirit of cooperation with other vendors and manufacturers."

Specifications for IGT's award-winning sb service window have been made available to the industry and will provide a vehicle for various products and systems to work together to provide enhanced services for casinos and casino patrons.

"We believe in IGT's vision for server-based products with all suppliers working in concert to provide casino-wide services and solutions," said Angelo Palmisano, PAL CEO. "Paltronics has a lot to offer in an open, server-based environment, and we are excited about the potential it presents."
