Gaming developer Wazdan has been shortlisted in two categories at the AskGamblers Awards 2026, earning recognition for both its wider portfolio and one of its recent releases.
The company has been nominated in the Best Game Provider category, while 16 Coins™ x5000 is in the running for Best New Slot.
"The double nomination highlights two complementary areas of Wazdan's continued development," the company said. The Best Game Provider shortlisting recognises the consistency and diversity of the company's portfolio.
Meanwhile, the Best New Slot nomination places the spotlight on 16 Coins™ x5000, a title that builds on the Coins™ series with a 16-reel layout, four jackpots and a Grand Jackpot worth 5000x the bet.
The game combines Wazdan's signature Hold the Jackpot™, Cash Infinity™ and Cash Out features, alongside additional player control through Chance Level™. With its high-volatility gameplay and clear bonus-led structure, the game continues the evolution of one of Wazdan's most established series, the company said.
The recognition follows a strong period of industry award nominations for Wazdan.
Radka Bacheva, Head of Sales and Business Development at Wazdan, said: "To be nominated for Best Game Provider while also seeing 16 Coins™ x5000 recognised as one of the year's best new slots is especially meaningful. It highlights both the strength of our full portfolio and the impact of individual releases that bring fresh energy to our established game series.
"16 Coins™ x5000 is a great example of how we continue to build on proven concepts while introducing new layers of excitement, player engagement and commercial potential for our partners. The Coins™ series has become an important part of our offering, and this nomination shows how much room there still is to evolve familiar formats in a way that feels fresh, distinctive and relevant."
