iGaming solutions provider GR8 Tech is upgrading its engagement and retention tools to help operators maintain player activity during high-traffic periods such as the World Cup.
According to the company, the updates aim to improve player retention beyond initial acquisition, introducing a more flexible loyalty programme, automated bonuses tied to losing streaks, enhanced bonus selection options, and more precise player segmentation.
“The World Cup can drive acquisition at scale, but retention is what determines the commercial outcome,” said Kateryna Shevchenko, CRM Product Manager at GR8 Tech. “Tools that allow operators to react at the right moment, reward players clearly, and reduce the operational effort behind engagement maximize the event’s ROI—and that’s what we’re focusing on.”
GR8 Tech's updated loyalty system is designed to make rewards more transparent, showing players how progression works. It allows them to earn points from casino and sports activity, unlocking higher tiers with improved benefits.
With a stronger focus on VIPs and long-term retention, the programme also includes cashback rewards and is adapted for multi-currency and crypto environments, while integrated risk tools aim to reduce bonus abuse.
The company also introduced an automated feature that triggers rewards when players reach a predefined threshold of consecutive unsuccessful bets, aiming to mitigate churn during losing streaks. That reward can take the form of a sports bonus, a free bet, or another available bonus mechanic, reducing frustration, sustaining engagement, and stopping negative moments from becoming player exit.
In addition, GR8 Tech has enhanced bonus flexibility, enabling players to choose, change, or cancel bonuses during registration and deposit stages, in an effort to reduce friction and improve early engagement.
The upgrades also include more advanced segmentation tools, allowing operators to tailor incentives based on factors such as VIP status, loyalty level, and player risk profile, which can improve campaign efficiency during peak traffic periods.
The combined enhancements are intended to help operators convert tournament traffic into longer-term player value.
