bet365 has officially launched its online sportsbook and casino in Michigan, marking its entry into its 17th U.S. state as the company continues its North American expansion.
The expansion follows approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB), which has authorized bet365 as the new internet gaming and sports betting platform provider for the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, which operates Odawa Casino.
The move follows the recent exit of PokerStars from the Michigan market, with bet365 stepping in to assume platform operations. The company has completed all licensing and regulatory requirements set by the MGCB.
“This approval reflects our continued focus on maintaining integrity, transparency, and consumer protection in Michigan’s online gaming and sports betting marketplace,” said MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams. “We are pleased to welcome bet365 as the Tribe’s new platform provider and look forward to seeing the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians continue to provide a safe, responsible, and enjoyable wagering experience for players across the state.”
With the approval, bet365 is now authorized to offer both internet gaming and online sports betting on behalf of the Tribe. MGCB said the decision aligns with their broader efforts to maintain a secure and well-regulated online gaming environment in the state.
The company also announced a new partnership with the Detroit Tigers, becoming an Official Sports Betting Partner of the Major League Baseball franchise.
Michigan users will gain access to bet365’s betting platform, which includes competitive odds, early lines, and in-play wagering features. Among its highlighted offerings is the “Early Payout” feature, allowing bettors to receive winnings before the conclusion of a game when their team establishes a significant lead.

The platform also integrates an online casino offering, including features such as the “Prize Matcher,” a daily promotion offering players the chance to win prizes valued at up to $5,000 weekly.
To coincide with the launch, bet365 introduced promotional offers for new customers, including a “Bet $10, Get $365” sportsbook bonus and a casino package featuring up to 1,000 free spins and a deposit match of up to $1,000.
“We’re excited to bring bet365 to Michigan and introduce a better way to bet,” said Trip Stoddard, Head of Business Development at bet365. “This is a mature market with knowledgeable fans, and we’re confident our product stands apart.”
As part of its market entry strategy, bet365 is forming partnerships across Michigan’s sports and entertainment sectors. In addition to the Tigers, the company has partnered with the Detroit Red Wings and 313 Presents.
The Detroit Tigers agreement includes branding placements at Comerica Park, broadcast integrations, and fan engagement initiatives such as ticketing and merchandise programs. bet365 will also serve as a presenting partner for Tigers coverage on Detroit SportsNet.
bet365 said the Michigan rollout reflects its broader strategy to expand across all regulated U.S. markets and compete with established sportsbook operators by offering a differentiated product experience.
