According to its organizers, the GAT Expo Cartagena trade show concluded with active commercial operations and tangible outcomes: participation from business representatives of 45 countries, more than 2,500 attendees, and a business dynamic that resulted in ongoing deals, direct transactions, and new partnerships for the development of the Latin American market.
Over two exhibition days, Wednesday March 25 and Thursday March 26, the Las Américas Convention Center operated at full capacity, with manufacturers, operators, technology providers, and online platforms fulfilling intensive work agendas.

Activity at the stands was marked by concrete purchasing decisions. Exhibiting companies reported immediate sales and advanced negotiations, confirming the event’s role as a real buying and selling platform in the region.
Among the standout results was the report from Win Systems, whose team at the stand closed the sale of 20 roulettes for a value exceeding $4 million. Their representative, Cristina Quintero, stated: “I am very happy with the results. GAT Cartagena allows us to close high-value deals in a very dynamic environment.”
Likewise, the payment platform TumiPay, which participated for the first time as an exhibitor, highlighted that the positive results achieved confirm its decision to join the GAT circuit in upcoming stops this year.
The exhibition hall showcased an integrated ecosystem, with solutions covering technological improvements in land-based gaming, innovation in online games, multi-solution platforms, payment methods, gamification, data analytics, and operational optimization tools.

The event opened on Tuesday with a packed academic agenda in a fully attended auditorium, bringing together more than 300 participants for a day focused on regulation, regional economy, and technological transformation, coordinated by FECOLJUEGOS.
Víctor Arias, Vice President for Latin America at Arrise powering Pragmatic Play, highlighted the level of the conferences and the quality of the content, with highly qualified speakers, emphasizing the relevance of this space as a hub for industry updates in Latin America.

During GAT Expo Cartagena 2026, the participation of national and international associations reaffirmed the event’s integrative nature and its ability to convene institutional stakeholders. Colombian associations shared the stage with international organizations such as AIEJA (Mexico), ALEA (Argentina), APOJA (Paraguay), and SONAJA (Peru), as well as delegations from lotteries and official entities from various countries.
This coordinated presence enabled broad and representative dialogue on the market’s challenges and opportunities, consolidating GAT as a meeting point where regulatory, industry, and business perspectives from across the continent converge.

On the morning of Wednesday, March 25, with the participation of members from FECOLJUEGOS and CORNAZAR, both organizations held their annual assemblies, addressing their planned agendas and reaffirming the role of industry bodies as key interlocutors with the national government.
From its stand, the Coljuegos team maintained an active agenda engaging with operators, suppliers, and international delegations, addressing regulatory concerns and sharing guidelines on market development, reinforcing a space for direct dialogue between the public and private sectors.
Technology at GAT Events also continues to advance, with exhibitors and sponsors actively using the official networking app linked to the registration platform. This tool facilitated meeting scheduling and optimized direct contact and agenda-setting between buyers and suppliers.

Beyond the academic and exhibition floors, networking spaces extended commercial conversations into shared experiences, creating direct connections between executives and decision-makers.
The social agenda of GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 featured one of its most memorable moments at the networking event held at Las Terrazas del Claustro of the Getsemaní Convention Center, sponsored by BetPlay. In a relaxed and authentically Caribbean atmosphere, attendees connected to the rhythm of live local salsa, complemented by a DJ who kept the dance floor active throughout the night.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, stated: “The results of this edition confirm that the industry is in motion. Cartagena is a place where business is activated and where the market finds real opportunities.”
With this closing, GAT Events continues its 2026 circuit with upcoming stops in Mexico City, São Paulo, San Juan, Bogotá, and Santo Domingo, consolidating its presence as a B2B platform for the development of the legal gaming industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
