AffPapa breaks down the key reasons behind AffPapa Conference's move to Madrid

Now established in Madrid, the new home of the AffPapa Conference reflects the continued expansion and growing global reach of the flagship event.

The first two conferences in Malaga brought iGaming affiliates, operators, and B2B providers together, creating a space for networking, partnerships, and discussions. However, as attendance numbers kept increasing, the AffPapa Conference needed a bigger home to match its momentum.

Why did we choose Madrid as our “Home”?

There are several reasons why the capital of Spain is the host city for the flagship AffPapa Conference event:

• Accessibility: Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport connects Madrid to 200 destinations worldwide.

• Europe-LatAm gateway: Madrid connects the 2 major regions of the global iGaming industry.

• Business and tech hub: The city is among Europe’s leading centers for international business and technology, hosting global companies and startups.

• Open social atmosphere and nightlife: Known for excellent food and welcoming culture, Madrid offers opportunities for networking that continue beyond the conference floor.

What to expect at AffPapa Conference Madrid

The AffPapa Conference Madrid will take place on May 18–20 at the Novotel Madrid Center and is expected to welcome more than 1,500 attendees. The largest affiliate-led AffPapa Conference to date is to host an audience consisting of around 40% affiliates, 40% operators, and 20% B2B providers.

Across two full days, participants can expect a packed agenda that includes speed-dating networking sessions, expert-led panels, evening networking drinks, and the AffPapa iGaming Awards 2026. The conference also features its first-ever padel tournament as a side event and a Closing Party with EDM DJ Kryoman.

Making Madrid the home of the flagship AffPapa Conference event is an important milestone, opening the door to new connections, a wider international audience, and even bigger editions in the future.
