GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 is set to gather more than 2,500 gaming industry executives from across the region around an agenda that combines academic sessions, a commercial exhibition, and high-level networking, according to organizer GAT Events. The event kicks off on March 24 and will run through Thursday, March 26, at the Las Américas Convention Center.
Starting tomorrow, Cartagena de Indias — dubbed Colombia’s Caribbean jewel — will host what organizers describe as “the most relevant meeting in Latin America,” featuring three days of intense networking. The 27th edition of GAT Expo is described by GAT Events as "the number one event focused on the land-based ecosystem in the region," while also serving as a platform to showcase cutting-edge portfolios in online betting technology.
On this occasion, GAT Events highlighted the event’s broad reach and networking potential, with 2,500 C-level executives already registered and confirmed. Regional operators will have access to offerings from suppliers and distributors featuring top-tier technological inventories for upgrading equipment, products, and services, including the latest applications for large and mid-sized casinos, as well as smaller gaming venues and online platforms.
José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, stated: “GAT Expo Cartagena today represents one of the strongest outcomes of this collective effort, where trust in our work has allowed us to expand and become a circuit that spans South America, the Caribbean, and North America.”

“We will have extensive coverage from national and international media. I’d also like to announce that GAT Magazine, our communications channel, will be capturing the key moments of each day, with a professional team of videographers and photographers accompanying our official host,” he added.
Tuesday, March 24 will be dedicated to specialized conferences and panels. The GAT Academy, led in this edition by Fecoljuegos and its president Evert Montero, will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This space will bring together experts, national and international authorities, associations, and industry leaders from across the continent to address key topics such as regulation, technological innovation, and market outlook.
In the afternoon, the program will move to the bay for the traditional catamaran networking session, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., serving as the first informal meeting point for attendees.
On Wednesday, March 25, the day will begin with the annual assemblies of Colombian trade associations Cornazar and Fecoljuegos.
In the afternoon, the commercial dynamic will begin with the opening of the exhibition floor from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Santa María A and B halls, where products, solutions, and technological developments for both land-based and digital markets will be showcased.

The day will continue at night with the “Welcome & Connect” gathering, from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., in the city’s historic center.
The program will conclude on Thursday, March 26, with a second exhibition session from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., aimed at continuing meetings and closing business deals initiated the previous day.
