SAGSE South America closes 2026 edition with “very positive” balance and high expectations for the future
At the close of SAGSE South America 2026, held on March 18 and 19 at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center, Alan Burak, Vice President of SAGSE, spoke exclusively with Yogonet and delivered a highly positive assessment of the event. “We are truly very pleased with the outcome of SAGSE South America 2026,” the executive stated.
Burak particularly highlighted the response from attendees and the overall profile of participants at this year’s edition. “The common thread we heard in the aisles of the exhibition points to both the quantity and quality of the audience we had this year, which undoubtedly fills us with pride and a sense of mission accomplished,” he said.
Burak also emphasized the presence of key industry players from both the land-based and online segments, as well as the role of regulatory bodies: “The country’s leading land-based and online gaming operators attended the event and provided exhibiting companies with the opportunity to hold countless meetings and generate business, reaffirming SAGSE’s status as the leading regional event in Buenos Aires.
"They were joined by national regulators, who, alongside ALEA, were also present at the show, highlighting SAGSE’s importance for the gaming industry in Argentina and across Latin America.”
Finally, the SAGSE Vice President confirmed that, based on the results achieved, the dates for the next edition have already been set. “These results reinforce the path we aim to follow with SAGSE, which is why we have already confirmed the dates for the 2027 edition, to be held on March 17 and 18 next year. Without a doubt, the strong support from the national and regional industry this year is a great incentive to further drive SAGSE forward,” he concluded.
SAGSE South America held its closing day yesterday, Thursday, maintaining a high level of visitors throughout the day, generating positive feedback from exhibitors, and later bringing together a large portion of attendees at its “Gran Gala del Juego” at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, where the success of its 34th edition in Argentina was celebrated.
