Playson blends classic slot theme with modern mechanics in Timeless Diamonds: Hold and Win

iGaming content supplier Playson has launched Timeless Diamonds: Hold and Win, a new slot featuring a retro 3x3 fruit-themed layout. The game boasts radiant multipliers, four in-game jackpots of up to 1,000x, and an enriched Collect feature.

The game uses a classic fruit slot style with diamond symbols designed to boost winning potential across the main game and bonus rounds.

At the center of the title is the Hold and Win Bonus Game, which is triggered when at least one Bonus symbol appears on each of the three reels. During this feature, only special symbols—including Bonus symbols, Collect symbols, multipliers, and four jackpot tiers—can appear. The jackpot prizes include Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand rewards, with the Grand jackpot offering payouts of up to 1,000x the stake.

Multipliers start at 2x when they land and increase by 1x if another multiplier lands in the same position. If a Bonus symbol lands on a multiplier cell, its value is increased by the multiplier. Multipliers remain active until the feature ends.

The game also brings back the Collect feature, a mechanic designed to enhance both base gameplay and bonus opportunities. When a Collect symbol lands together with any Bonus symbol, it collects the associated payouts. If the Collect symbol appears without a Bonus symbol, the game may randomly add Bonus symbols to activate the feature. Conversely, if Bonus symbols appear without a Collect symbol, the system may add a Collect symbol to trigger the mechanic.

An Extra Bonus Game can also trigger in the base game when Bonus or Collect symbols appear, adding more symbols to help start the Hold and Win feature.
